November 22, 2022In attendance were the Chairman of the Opening Ceremony HE, RT. Hon. (Dr.) Simon Bako Lalong, KSCG, the Executive Governor, Plateau State who was represented byHE Prof. Sonni Gwanle Tyoden, Deputy Governor of Plateau State and The Special Guest of honour and Chairman / Chief Executive, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Brig. Gen. Mohammed Buba Maruwa, (Rtd.) OFR, CON, ably represented by NDLEA Secretary Haruna Shadrach Usman Esq. Other dignitaries during the Opening Ceremony included Commissioners of various Ministries within the Plateau State Government, as well as the Traditional Leader and Chairman of the Traditional Leaders Council, of Jos, His Royal Majesty Da Jacob Gyang Buba, and Oba Pharm. Ajibola Ademola Julius, the Olusinof Ijara-Isin.

October 27, 2022Pharmacists under the aegis of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) have raised the alarm over the massive number of pharmacists leaving Nigeria to practice their profession in developed countries, saying 5,208 pharmacists have left the country in the last five years in search of greener pastures especially in Canada, the United Kingdom (UK) and the United States (U.S).
