According to WHO, in 2019, Universal Health Coverage (UHC) is the organization of its system in a way that provides a specific healthcare benefit package to all members of a defined population, through provision of financial risk protection in the course of assessing necessary health care services

This concept was adopted in 2005 by WHO, followed by its adoption of vision 2030 Sustainable Development Goal (SDGs) agenda as the eight targets of SDG 3 (i.e. ensure healthy lives and promote wellbeing for all).

Supply chain management encompasses the planning and management of all activities involved in sourcing and procurement…and all logistics management activities.

Importantly, it also includes coordination and collaboration with channel partners, which can be suppliers, intermediaries, third party service providers, and customers.
