As Nigeria strives to achieve medicine sufficiency and security and raise its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) through domestic drug manufacturing, the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) has asked the Federal Government to create a sustainable petrochemical sector.  

Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) has charged the federal government to stem the tide of mass exodus of pharmacists overseas for greener pastures.

Pharmacists under the aegis of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) have raised the alarm over the massive number of pharmacists leaving Nigeria to practice their profession in developed countries, saying  5,208 pharmacists have left the country in the last five years in search of greener pastures especially in Canada, the United Kingdom (UK) and the United States (U.S).

On the 7th of April 2022, the President of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) Pharm. (Prof.) Cyril Odianose Usifoh FPSN paid a courtesy visit to the Managing Director of Worldwide Commercial Ventures Limited (WWCVL) Mr. Santosh Kumar at his business premises in Lagos.

Tuesday 5th of April 2022, was a joyous atmosphere for the staff and management of EVANS BAROQUE limited when they received the President of PSN (Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria) Pharm. (Prof.) Cyril O. Usifoh, FPSN, accompanied by the National Secretary Pharm. Olugbenga Falabi FPSN, PSN Lagos State Chairman, Pharm. Iyiola Gbolagade FPSN, the PSN IT Consultant, Mr. Oludare Akinbo of Tishri infoTech Nig Ltd and one of his staff, and a host of other reputable Pharmacists.

It was a memorable day at Pharma-Deko Nigeria Limited located at the industrial estate, Agbara, Ogun state as the management and staff received the President, Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) Pharm. (Prof.). Cyril Odianose Usifoh FPSN.

The Association of Pharmaceutical Importers of Nigeria, APIN, has presented a certified cheque of the sum of one hundred and twenty-eight million naira to the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, PSN, as part of its contribution towards the actualisation of the PSN Pharmacy Tower project.
